On September 27th, Hurricane Helene impacted North Carolina, resulting in significant road closures, power outages, and disruptions to gas and water services. Currently, thousands of homes and businesses are still experiencing electricity shortages, while ongoing water shortages present additional challenges. As nighttime temperatures decline, those affected by the storm are encountering further hardships. Walking Tree Family Practice will be actively volunteering in Asheville, NC and the surrounding areas during Thanksgiving weekend to offer support to the community and its residents. We are currently accepting donations to facilitate these efforts. Please reach out to us if you are interested in contributing to Walking Tree’s initiatives.
