Veteran Disability Exams
Walking Tree Family Practice has partnered with Loyal Source to provide medical exams when seeking Compensation and Pension benefits.
Acute Illness Care
Visit the Walking Tree Family Practice for same-day sick visits and medical procedures such as wound care/stitches/staples, incision & drainage, and joint injections. We also offer treatments for minor burns, foreign body removal, and cryotherapy for skin lesions, as well as removal of skin tags, fingernails/toenails (partial or complete), and cerumen impaction. Bladder catheterization and tick removal services are also available.
Chronic Disease Management
Chronic diseases last a year or more and need ongoing medical attention or limit daily activities. Examples include heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. 6 in 10 US adults have a chronic disease and 4 in 10 have 2 or more. Walking Tree Family Practice makes a disease management plan with clinical guidelines, involving patients and their specialists, encouraging routine visits, monitoring, and education.
Weight Loss Management
Women's Health
Women’s health care needs will vary throughout the different stages of life. Walking Tree Family Practice offers comprehensive women’s gynecological care including pap smears and regular health screenings for female-specific cancers, general gynecologic care, irregularities or issues with menstruation, sexual health care and education, STD treatment and prevention, management of frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs), pregnancy testing, birth control counseling and prescriptions, and management of menopause symptoms.
Men's Health
Our practice provides comprehensive men’s healthcare services for every stage of life including routine check-ups, prostate cancer screening, prostatitis treatment, management of testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction and urinary tract infections treatment, sexual health education, and STD treatment and prevention.
DOT Physicals
Walking Tree Family Practice has a medical examiner who can complete Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals at a competitive rate. Same-day appointments are available.

Medication Management
Taking medications as directed is crucial for better health and managing chronic illnesses. Walking Tree Family Practice aims to promote adherence by addressing individual treatment requirements, addressing obstacles to medication use, explaining medication purposes, involving the patient in medication decisions, and continually reassessing effectiveness. Our provider even wrote her Doctoral thesis on the topic!
Annual Wellness
Yearly wellness exams are important for preventive healthcare. Both adults and children should visit their provider annually for a wellness checkup. These visits help identify potential health issues early. The exam focuses on your overall wellness and meeting your personalized needs. Necessary screening tests, vaccinations, and testing will be ordered. Most insurance plans cover it or it’s included in our Direct Membership Plan.
