On September 27th, Hurricane Helene impacted North Carolina, resulting in significant road closures, power outages, and disruptions to gas and water services. Currently, thousands of homes and businesses are still experiencing electricity shortages, while ongoing water shortages present additional challenges. As nighttime temperatures decline, those affected by the storm are encountering further hardships.
